He receives in-patient chemotherapy at DeVos Children’s Hospital – which is over 2 hours away from the family’s home. 

The family had been sharing one vehicle prior to Noah’s diagnosis. The wear and tear of the lengthy commute resulted in their car being deemed unsafe to drive by a mechanic. The family borrowed a car as a short-term solution, but worried how they would pay for one of their own on top of the additional gas and food expenses.
